Tuesday I showed you the tour of my indoor fall decorations. Today is all about outdoor fall decorations, in the name of Vlogtober! You can watch my vlog below (and hear me horribly mess up a Steel Magnolias quote). It was dreary and windy when I filmed the vlog, so here are a few pictures from a sunny fall day earlier this week!
I’ve been enjoying your Vlogtober so much! Love your front door wreath. Thanks for sharing these pictures today — they do give a better picture of how the outdoor decor actually looks than the windy vlog filming. I’ve been trying to post every day in October on my own blog. So far, so good!

Thank you so much! I’m glad you’re enjoying Vlogtober – I’m loving it too! Way to go with posting every day, that’s quite a challenge.

Your front door wreath is spectacular! Loving your little pumpkins too! I was also wondering what color/brand of nail polish you have on in your Instagram pic of the Cottages and Bungalows magazine? I’ve been looking for the perfect fall burgundy shade and yours is so pretty! Love your blog and loving Vlogtober!

Hi Tina! The polish I have on is Cover Girl glossy days glosstinis in “Techno Glo.” I bought it last year but I think that shade is still available. 🙂

Love the wreath on the front door! We currently live in a rental and can’t really decorate outside. So, we pretty much stick to decorating indoors and showing our fall festive spirit that way.

That front door wreath – I still love it, too! A friend made it and is very gifted at things like that. If I was home I’d give you a tour of my front porch; it’s a favorite spot of mine. Corn stalks, mums, pumpkins, acorns, flag and wreath are the elements, so you get the picture! Come and we’ll sit and rock and have coffee. 🙂 Thanks for the tour of your house!

You really should do a video tour when you get home! It always looks so pretty out there! I wanted to link to a post of your outside decor, but I couldn’t find one you’ve done at your new house.

I am with you Whitney…not an outside decorator!! I do keep the front of the townhouse fairly well planted and I can manage that as it is just a small area. Love your front door wreath. I have a little flag out back where we drive into the garage and I like to change it out with the seasons. That Said, I always put out pumpkins and mums for October and hope they last to Thanksgiving. And while many might think I am like Ouiser….I do not dig in the dirt or grow tomatoes!!

Ha! I’m just not one for digging in the dirt either. I stepped in fire ants a couple years ago while picking tomatoes off my vine, and that was the end of my career as a gardener!

That front door wreath is so pretty!! And love that monogrammed pumpkin. So cute! I’m starting to collect larger faux pumpkins for outdoors so I don’t have to buy new ones every year 🙂

Thanks, Katie! I love that wreath so much. Faux pumpkins are just the way to go! I hope to find a few on clearance at Hob Lob this year.
