If you’ve owned a home for any time at all, you undoubtedly have a pile of insurance documents, appliance manuals, warranties and more. Those things don’t need to be accessed often, but when your washing machine goes on the fritz, it’s nice to know exactly where to find the warranty! I organized all of my various household documents in a file box I already had on hand. I used hanging files, tabbed folders and labels that you can find at Dollar Tree. Here’s what the inside looks like:
- Life Insurance Policies
- Home Insurance
- Medical Receipts and Info
- Warranties for Electronics and Appliances
- Closing Documents and House Title
