Today is our third anniversary! I know that isn’t very long, but it’s a start. These past three years have not been perfect, but it has been a wonderful journey so far!
I’ve learned so much in the past three years. I’ve been loved with unconditional, patient, forgiving love every single day. Along with that, I’ve learned how selfish and impatient I am!
I asked Paul if he’d learned anything since we’ve been married. Here’s what he said:
Other people don’t always think I’m right. (wonder who those “other people” are? ha!)
Who knew you could learn to love and live with cats?
A house with a woman’s touch is a home.
One of the things I’ve learned is to love that tough, no-nonsense exterior (see Paul’s first comment) and to cherish those deep, kind thoughts that come out of his heart (see Paul’s third comment). Both the exterior and the interior make up the man I love with all my heart. I can’t have one without the other!
Three years down, the rest of our lives to go!
