Happy Monday! I’m back from a wonderful week of vacation that included several days with my grandparents in Kentucky. My Nana is a wonderful cook. We had some really delicious meals during my visit (and doesn’t she set a beautiful table?). One night she served fresh green beans that were so good I asked to have them again the next night (cause you can do that kind of thing at Nana’s house and she gladly obliges). Nana used the Pioneer Woman’s recipe which Ree calls “The Best Green Beans Ever.” That’s a fitting name because they are great, but I’m just going to call them Nana’s green beans. You understand, I’m sure. 🙂
If you’re curious what I bought at Ingles this week, you can watch my grocery haul here!

Thanks for the thumbs up on the green beans. I bought the slender green beans at Kroger again this week, and repeated the recipe. They were good too!

I love green beans, and I love that you’ve renamed the recipe to Nana’s green beans! So perfect! And nachos for dinner sound so yummy. I need to add that to our usual rotation.
