High Five For Friday July 30

This week’s H54F is brought to you by the color orange and the letter P (peaches, Peggy, polish and pizza). Totally unplanned and completely hilarious! 🙂

1// There’s nothing like a juicy South Carolina peach. I had at least one every day this week – one day I had three plus a bowl of homemade peach ice cream. The three in that bowl are the only ones left as I’m typing this post…must. get. more.

2//  I wish there was a job where all you did was look at cat pictures on Instagram and Pinterest. I’d be so good at that job! 🙂 I love this Buzzfeed of 11 Moments You Can Only Share With Your Cat, especially #2, 7 and 9. Cat people, you get me – right?

3// This week I wore OPI’s “my tapioca is hotter than yours.” The shade is a perfect coraley-orange that complements both pink and red outfits. I’ve found that OPI polishes don’t stay shiny as long as some others – so I use my Revlon Crazy Shine Nail Buffer halfway through the week. It does wonders for my polish!

4// Thursday afternoon Paul texted me at work – “what time do you want me to have supper ready?” He doesn’t cook, but I didn’t question. I came home to an amazing supper of my favorite pizza – Pizza Hut with pan crust . No cooking and no cleanup on a busy week night? Yes please! He’s the best. ❤

5// This is the first weekend in a long time that has nothing planned! I’m so ready for a nice long weekend at home with my usual routine of cleaning, blogging and hanging out with the cats!

  1. Spontaneous pizza dinner?? Yes please! How sweet. And your post reminds me that I need to get out and grab more peaches. I just get addicted to them when we have them in the house. Hope you’re quiet, relaxing weekend was delightful 🙂

  2. Yum! Peaches and pizza are always at the top of my list, too! Thank goodness for husbands who take care of dinner now and then. Such a nice treat! Have a relaxing weekend!

  3. The peaches sound amazing!! I haven’t had any great ones this summer so I need to keep my eyes peeled for Farmer’s Markets in Indiana. Love your new nail color and agree that I’d enjoy having the job of reviewing cat pictures all day. When my husband offers to cook dinner it’s always code for take out. It’s my favorite 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend.

(Your posts never fail to make me smile, friend! :)) I’m putting that nail polish shade on my must-buy list!! So pretty!!
