I’ve really enjoyed trying my hand at YouTube over the summer. I did a few grocery hauls in the late spring, but the Vlog Every Day in June Challenge was really my introduction to vlogging. Christy Jordan (who hosted the challenge) came up with such fun questions for each day that it wasn’t hard to know what to say when I turned the camera on. Vlogging every day (or most days) is a lot of work, so I enjoyed a breather over the past couple months. Now I’m ready to do it again!!!

Vlogtober Prompts

I sat down and created my own list of questions and vlog prompts and put them into October’s calendar. I’m so excited to share some of my fall favorites with you! For Vlogtober I decided to post every other day (instead of just weekdays like I did in June). That way you’ll get a peek into our life on the weekends as well.

Why am I sharing this with you? I’m sharing this because I hope you’ll join me and do some Vlogtober vlogs of your own! Whether you’re a seasoned YouTuber or you’ve never uploaded a single video, I’m inviting you to join me in the fun.

I’m going to step away from my Angela Martin/Monica Geller tendencies and declare that this is a rule-free Vlogtober. 🙂 You don’t have to follow my prompts, you don’t have to follow the posting schedule, you can join for as many or as few days as you’d like!

  13. I will definitely not be vlogging — I am cameraphobic and decidedly NOT photogenic. Just looking in the mirror is a challenge for me. But, like Arlene, I may well use some of your prompts for October blog posts. You have some great ideas and I will very much look forward to seeing your vlogs. You do a fabulous job with them.

  14. Gosh Whitney! This is quite a challenge because I always think of my face as not “camera lovely” lol (especially now that pregnancy hormones are taking effect on my face haha)

Beauty is not a prerequisite for YouTube…cause if it was, I wouldn’t be on there! 🙂 I always wanted to get into YouTube but was afraid – until someone invited me to do a vlogging challenge. It was exactly what I needed to get my feet wet. If you’ve been considering making some videos, this is a great time to start! 🙂

  17. Whitney, if I were as pretty and sweet as you are I would be IN! But hey, just looking in the mirror tests my resolve most mornings so I will just continue to Blog but I look forward to seeing your vlogs. I am excited when I get an email telling me you have a new post on You Tube. And you might mention to your readers to subscribe so that they do not miss any posts. While I will not be vlogging, I may use some of your prompts for blog posts in October!!
