At Thanksgiving, I shared with my family that I was most thankful for the HOPE we have in Jesus Christ. It seemed only right to include this line from “O Holy Night” on our Christmas card. We have HOPE not only because Jesus was born, but because He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins and lives again to bring us life! Merry Christmas!
Amen! 🙂 I love it!!

Beautiful. I love O Holy Night and it’s so appropriate that you included the words “the weary world rejoices” because our world is just so weary right now. How we need that hope in our lives. The picture of you and your hubby is so nice!

Amen! That’s exactly why I chose that phrase. The hope of the first Christmas still impacts our lives today.

O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas carol. I love your card this year…a good thing to remember. I enjoyed seeing your previous cards as well. I did not do a photo card this year as so many of my friends are on Facebook and they see my grands on there. ( If I do a photo card, it features the grand Grimms) Maybe they will make a return next year!!

Facebook has certainly changed the way we do Christmas cards – I remember the days when my Mom typed a family update newsletter, full of clip art, to send to our family. Now they know what we had for lunch b/c of social media! 🙂
