Signing Off For Christmas

Christmas Plans

This is my favorite view – the glow of the Christmas tree from “my” spot on the couch. I love to sit here with my husband, usually with one kitty on my lap and another one on the rug in front of me. This is where I’m planning to spend the next couple of days – maybe not totally on the couch, but somewhere close by as I work in the kitchen, watch Christmas movies, open presents and spend time with my family.

I want to take a minute to say Merry Christmas to all my friends in blogland! You all are such an important part of my life and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to connect with you in this way. I hope you have the most wonderful Christmas with the people you hold dear – and I hope you get everything on your list! 🙂

Christmas isn’t always a grand and glorious time. I know there are some of you who are experiencing your first Christmas without a loved one. Maybe you hoped to have a baby in your family this Christmas, and it didn’t happen. Some of you are walking through dark days of financial struggles, loneliness, or relationship heartaches. Please know that I’m praying for you this Christmas. Jesus came as Emmanuel – God with us. No matter what you’re going through, God is with you! I pray that you’ll be able to repeat Mary’s words from Luke 2, “For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name.”

I’m taking the rest of the week off from blogging – but of course I’ll keep Instagram full of all the Christmas fun at our house!

Merry Christmas with love,

Blog Sig
