Because Marriage Matters {April Recap}

marriage matters april

Each Monday I post a picture on Instagram with a snapshot of something we do because marriage matters. You can read more about why we do this on my first Marriage Matters post. April has been a busy month, but we managed to squeeze in some fun times together! Here are the things I shared during the month:

I hope you’ll join in the #MondayMarriageMatters challenge – of course you don’t have to post it on Instagram unless you choose to do that, but I love seeing what you share! Take a moment this week and do something special for your marriage – because it matters!

  1. Such great reminders! “Let me love you” stuck with me because my hubby and I are both firstborns and often have our own way of doing things. We’ve had to work hard to compromise more over the years. I’m thinking about next week and am going to try to squeeze in a few special things for Kevin. Thanks for the reminder that marriage matters 🙂

  2. Your comments on “Let me love you” are so me and my husband. We’re both first borns and we both know what’s best. 🙂 I LOVE the sentiment behind the phrase “let me love you”. I need to incorporate that for us. It will, if nothing else, give me a moment to pause and get outside of my thoughts and refocus on my husband.

  3. I so enjoy your #marriagematters posts! It is nice to see people putting effort into their marriages, rather than complaining about them. Thank you for your encouraging posts!

  4. Very sweet post! Those are all excellent ways to show that your marriage matters. My husband and I went grocery shopping together this weekend (which is fun in and of itself), but he also surprised me by taking me by the floral section! I now have beautiful pink lilies in my living room. 🙂
