Fall Decor Tour {2016}

Tomorrow is the first day of fall! My house is decorated and ready – I’ve even picked up our first bag of candy corn! I had so much fun decorating for fall over the weekend. I haven’t changed much in my living area (dining room/kitchen/living room) since early spring, and I was ready for something different. I used my Christmas decorating method and took everything off all the surfaces – coffee table, piano, counters, etc.  – put everything away, and started with a blank canvas. I pulled a few basic things back out, but they went in different places than before.

I’m still loving the gold and white pumpkins I painted last year! I’ve already planned to do a navy and gold theme for Thanksgiving, so I tried to keep that in mind as I decorated.

You’ll have to watch the video to see how I decorated the area on each side of the half wall – it’s nearly impossible to photograph that part of the house!

Thanks for coming along on the tour!

  1. There’s something refreshing about adding white to fall decor. I have a ton of the traditional brown and orange, but am inspired to add more neutrals/white. Velvet pumpkins must be the thing now, as I saw some gray and orange ones on Target’s website earlier this week. Love your teal one, and that it was on clearance! The discount racks often have treasures for those who take the time to look. 🙂

  2. Everything looks great! Love that addition of navy and blues to your Fall decor. Smart thinking to decorate in a way that allows you to add it to it as Fall goes on. I’ve seen lots of white pumpkins this season and I always love your polka-dot pumpkin.
