And just like that, Thanksgiving is over! I love scrolling social media after a holiday – I just love all the pictures of my friends with their families, around a table, having fun and enjoying the day. Here are MY favorite pictures from yesterday!
#1: The Food.
#2: The Table – it came together just as I hoped!
#3: PIE.
#4: Thanking the Lord for His goodness, over coffee (and PIE)
#5: This. (Thanksgiving hack: we took this on Wednesday. I knew I’d be too busy and hot in the kitchen to pull off a good Thanksgiving picture!)
I vlogged yesterday! It’s been a while since I did a video with lots of Paul…so here it is! 🙂

Yay! Glad your Turkey Day went as planned! That’s a good feeling. 🙂 I’m drooling over your pie pictures! My favorite Thanksgiving memory from this year is when my younger cousin gave my mom a big hug after he tasted her pumpkin pie. She does make great pies! 😉
I’m excited to get caught up on your videos, as I’m a bit behind. My Internet modem died over the holiday, so it’s been a bit hectic getting back online. Thankfully, I was able to use my sister’s connection for a few Black Friday online deals!

Thank you! I’m always inspired by your pretty crusts, so I decided to make the effort to pretty mine up a bit this year! 🙂

Oh man, it looks like y’all had the best Thanksgiving. I’d almost be sad the weekend was over if the Christmas season wasn’t in full swing now!

What kind of pie is that besides the pumpkin. Chocolate chip? Either way it looks delicious!

That is called Kentucky Derby Pie..and you’re right. It’s SO delicious! It’s chocolate chips and walnuts in a sugar/egg base. If you type “Derby Pie” in the search bar on my blog, the recipe should come up. It’s SO easy and such a great pie!
