Happy Friday! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to put this week behind me! No matter how rough the week may have been, it’s always good to look back at the highlights. Here are a few sweet moments from this past week:

Come Home For Comfort 
Easter candy is awesome! My mom’s favorite is robin eggs, while I love anything chocolate. I bought some Reese’s eggs and already ate two, so the rest are getting stored away where I can’t find them. 😉 It’s awesome to see the spring flowers popping up in the stores. My allergy nose can’t handle some of them, so I enjoy the bouquets while grocery shopping. The daffodils in my garden are starting to poke up, so I’m excited!
Hooray for cards in the mail! Sadly, snail mail seems to almost be a thing of the past. It makes receiving something that way such a big surprise. 🙂

Oh yes, Reese’s eggs have the perfect chocolate/pb ratio of all the Reese’s products!

I hope this week is better for you, but thank you for the reminder to look for the little blessings! Those malted eggs are one of my favorite kinds of Easter candy too. There are so many great candies out this time of year!

Just catching up on my blogs this afternoon…so glad the card made its way to you!! I do so admire the young wives and moms who are advocating for Home as a Refuge from the World. Things have changed so much in my 40 years as a homemaker. And I am with you on that Easter Candy…I have been trying to resist!!

I’m sorry this wasn’t a great week, but I love that you still found things to be thankful for. Easter candy, cats and pretty flowers are always things that make me smile. Jolly Rancher jelly beans and Cadbury chocolate eggs are my favorite. Hope your weekend is wonderful.

I can so relate! My week had plenty of rough spots, yet creating my Friday post brought so many reasons to smile! It’s always good to step back and look for those blessings in the midst of all that goes on in life. Those flowers are gorgeous! How sweet of your hubby to surprise you with your favorite candy!
