So I don’t actually have a mantle in my home…but I was inspired by the way Hilary decorated her mantle for Spring and ended up decorating my entry way table as a result! I think that no matter how good you are at decorating, sometimes it takes time and patience to get the desired results.
I’m not really that great at decorating, so it always takes me a few tries to get something the way I want it to look. I started with some elements that didn’t end up in the final look, took away and added from my stash of decorating essentials, and finally ended up with a “mantle” that I love!
The only new item is the white table runner that I purchased from the Target dollar spot earlier this Spring. I also used it in my Easter Tablescape, so I’ll have to move it over to the dining room table when I recreate that setup for Easter Sunday. 🙂
You might have noticed that I still have my twinkle lights woven throughout the display. I still love turning those on when we’re in the living room at night – it’s so cozy!
If you don’t have any Easter decor, look for things to go on clearance in a couple weeks. I got that bunny at Walgreens for less than a dollar a couple years ago!
I don’t have a mantle, either, so don’t feel alone. The top of the entertainment center doubles as a mantle around here. There’s plenty of space for holiday/seasonal decor. You do a great job with your “mantle!” 🙂 Twinkling lights are so fun! And the price on that bunny was awesome! I love after-holiday sales!

It looks great! I love that it’s so Springy and could easily last for several months. I love those shutters, too. It’s fun to have holiday spots to update each month or season.

Thanks! Yes, all I have to do is swap out the bunny for my white ceramic owl and I’m set for after Easter!

I cut down on my Easter decor this year. Just a few bunnies and eggs along with my Breakfast Bar display. I am already thinking of what I will put out when Easter is over. I do have a mantle but our tv is over it so limits the decor.

Summer is the hardest time of the year to decorate, at least for me. I’m enjoying the late Easter this year!

I really need to try some of those twinkle lights. They are so small and subtle that I barely even noticed them. Super cute Whitney!
