High Five For Friendship!

Today’s post is a little different than my usual content (I try not to blog about blogging or just to bloggers), but I’m joining my friends at High Five For Friday to celebrate International Friendship Day! Undoubtedly one of the greatest blessings of blogging is the friendships I’ve made with my fellow bloggers. Today we’re celebrating the friends we’ve made specifically through the weekly High Five For Friday linkup. It’s not only a place where we share the highlights from the week, it’s been a place where sweet friendships have been made as we connect with other bloggers!

The first time I joined H54F was back in 2013 (what!) and I spent the next three years writing weekly recap posts in lists of five. This year I’ve moved to a monthly recap, but I still join H54F on the last Friday of the month. Keeping in the spirit of things, I’ll list five of the sweet bloggers that I’ve come to call friend through this linkup! Incidentally, three of my five are now co-hosts of H54F!

1// Whitney from PolkaDotty Place

It’s no surprise that Whitney is on this list! She was one of the first bloggers I connected with (I think at the beginning of 2014) and I’ve enjoyed following her family and their adventures over the years! I love Whitney’s party planning posts, her dedication to her marriage, her diligent and yet fun approach to parenting, and of course her recipes! One of these days we’re going to meet in person (over a big plate of nachos) and I know it will be epic!

2// Katie from Cup of Tea

I’ve had the privilege of meeting Katie in person! We met up a couple years ago at a conference and had the best time chatting over lunch…and for a long time in the parking lot when we opted to ditch the final session for chatting instead! I love Katie’s planner reviews, her recipes and most of all her YouTube channel! She’s delightful to watch!

3// Tif from Bright on a Budget

Tif and I have gotten to meet up several times and it’s always a great time! She works so hard at blogging (while doing so many other awesome things at the same time) and has been a great blogging mentor to me over the years. I’m so grateful for Tif’s generosity to other bloggers! She wrote a post this week with some really great tips on connecting with local bloggers that you’ll definitely want to check out. Follow her on Instagram for some great style inspiration!

4// Della from Della Devoted

I met Della and her sweet family a few years ago, too! I love Della’s heart for her family and her drive to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. She’s a sweetheart and I’m so grateful to call Della my friend!

5// Brenda from Chatting Over Chocolate

Brenda takes the summer off from blogging and social media, and I miss her so much! Her blog is just full of family fun, Disney goodies and JOY. This girl has the most generous heart! She’s the queen of happy mail and I love her dearly. One of these days we’re going to meet up for a double date with our hubbies!
