5 Things on Friday {November’s Highlights}

Happy December! I’m already so deep into Christmas mode that it hardly seems possible that last week was Thanksgiving! I want to pause for a minute and look back at November’s highlights. Here they are!

1// FINISHING THE BATHROOM REMODEL PROJECTS!

If you want to get something done, just promise a big blog post and video on that project. Ha! I wanted to post about the bathroom remodel project before the holidays, and that was perfect motivation for us both to get everything completed. I’m so pleased and grateful for how they came together!

2// A fancy coffee and breakfast date

We almost never go out for breakfast, so it feels luxurious when we do. One Monday morning we hit up a local coffee bar for breakfast sandwiches and coffee (hot chocolate for Paul…bless). The mugs were huge – I felt like I was at Central Perk! #IllBeThereForYou

3// Capsule Wardrobe Outfits: I’m so glad it’s been cool enough for some layers! My favorite item from the month was my new Be Kind sweatshirt – and it’s on sale right now for $19.95 + free shipping! 

4 & 5 // Thanksgiving!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with my side of the family (the Cunninghams) and we had another wonderful #hamfam holiday!  The addition of my nephews this year makes everything even more adorable, sweet and fun. We spent a couple days in East Tennessee and packed the week full of good stuff. My sister hosted Thanksgiving and did an amazing job. She’s a great cook like my mom, so everything was pretty and delicious! I shared my favorite recipes from our meal on Monday’s post.

I am so thankful for my sweet family! We have so much fun together, but we’ve also walked with each other through joy and heartache this year. It’s a precious thing to be able to share in that kind of unity with your family – something I don’t take for granted. I didn’t take nearly as many pictures as I thought I did! There was just so much talking, laughing and eating going on that I don’t think I picked up my camera like I planned.

And now it’s December! I’m excited to announce that Monday will begin my 12 Days of Christmas series! Each day from December 4-15 I will post a new Christmas themed video on my YouTube channel. I’ll still only post on my regular M/W/F schedule here on the blog, but all the videos will be added to this page if you’d like to see them in one place. I’ll be sharing videos such as my Christmas home tour, what’s in Paul’s stocking, hostess gift ideas and my favorite Christmas movies! I hope you’ll join me!
