Copycat Starbucks Passion Fruit Tea Lemonade | Simple Peach Tea | 2 Refreshing Beverages!

Continuing my recent theme of summer survival, here are two refreshing beverages you can make at home!

ONE: Country Time Peach or Raspberry Tea

It doesn’t get any easier than mixing water with some powdered drink mix, does it? I know this isn’t the most upscale beverage, but it’s a great option to have on hand! I love being able to offer my guests something other than water without having to stock my fridge full of beverages that might not be consumed.

On the day I took these pictures we only had the Raspberry flavor on hand – which is good – but our favorite is the Peach Harvest!

TWO: Copycat Starbucks Passion Fruit Tea Lemonade

If you like this fruity goodness from Starbucks, you’ll love how simple and inexpensive it is to make at home! You can buy the actual Tazo iced tea bags for less than $4 and have enough to make 6 gallons of tea. It doesn’t get better than that, does it? Here’s how I make mine.

You’ll need both of these things –
Tazo ICED Passion Herbal Tea Bags
Country Time Lemonade (or whatever lemonade you like)

I followed the directions on the tea package to make the tea lemonade:

  1. Bring 32 oz of water to a boil
  2. Pour boiling water over the filterbag in a 64 oz pitcher until it is half full
  3. Let it steep for 5 minutes and remove bag
  4. Pour 32 oz of lemonade over the tea; serve over ice

To make it extra special, I pop a few blueberries and sliced strawberries into my ice cube trays. It’s pretty and delicious!

Watch me make these two drinks and you’ll see how simple it is!

Where do you stand on fruity tea? Are you a Southern tea purist? 🙂

  1. I love tea, and I love fruit, so it’s a win-win for me! 🙂 Your fruity ice cubes sound fun. I’ve tried to recreate a Starbucks tea recipe before, and it worked pretty well. Yours sounds delicious, and very economical! Starbucks used to have a Teavana Blackberry Mojito Green Tea Lemonade drink (several years ago). So amazing!! But they don’t sell the tea anymore. 😦 I have a bag of the loose-leaf tea I’ve been stashing away, and it’s held its flavor pretty well. I mix a store-bought lemonade with the brewed tea, and it’s almost as good as what Starbucks made. Now it’s a special occasion tea for me, as once it’s gone, it’s gone. Starbucks always come out with new things, so there’s probably a new favorite right around the corner!

  2. Yum!! I’ve never attempted any fancy lemonade or flavored teas at home. My whole family loves lemonade so I will have to start with making my own fruity lemonade combinations.

  3. Sounds yummy but I am strictly a sweet tea girl from Georgia.:) I had to tell you that I just found out Christie Jordan’s mom is in my stitching group!! I had no idea she was Christie’s mama. She is a lot like Christie…very fun and upbeat.

    1. I respect your sweet tea preference! 🙂 That’s so funny – I saw her picture in a group photo you posted/shared on Facebook from one of your stitching group meetings and just assumed you knew that was Christy’s mama! 🙂 I got to meet her on Christy’s first book tour – she’s so sweet.
