Friday Favorites

What is High Five For Friday, Anyway?

Happy Friday! For the last couple months you’ve seen the “High Five For Friday Linkup” at the end of my Friday posts. If you’re a blogger or have been around the blog for a long time, you’re probably familiar with H54F. In case you’re not familiar – let me talk about it for a minute.

High Five For Friday started over five years ago as a place for bloggers to share their posts listing 5 things they loved/did/enjoyed from the past week. It was a great community of new and seasoned bloggers – it’s where I met most of my closest blogging friends as we read each other’s blogs, commented back and forth and got to know each other and our families.

with Tif, Della and Katie!

Some of those bloggers have disappeared over the years, but many of them are still right here in the H54F community! I now have the privilege to be one of the hosts for H54F, meaning you can access the community right here on my blog! You don’t have to be a blogger to participate. The linkup is a great place for you to discover new blogs, make friends and find inspiration!

We’ve changed the linkup over the years, and now bloggers can share any of their posts from the week. I picked a few of my favorite posts from last week’s linkup to give you a better idea of what I’m talking about. This is what you find when you scroll through H54F!

Five Loves on Friday by Chatting Over Chocolate

This post from Brenda captures the heart of H54F with a round up of things she loved from her week. I love the words of encouragement she included concerning our response when the world around us seems dark and hopeless.

Brenda and I met through H54F years ago – we got to meet in real life last summer! She’s a precious friend and a Disney lover, too! 🙂

Thank you for your kindness and for being beautifully you – always eager to encourage others and extend care and hospitality at every given opportunity. 2. Whitney, I checked out all of these bloggers. What a wonderful bunch of ladies…..so encouraging and I love their positive outlook on life. I especially enjoyed Brenda’s post. A good reminder that this life on earth is only temporary. Nothing on this earth is more important than eternity. Have I wonderful week-end, my friend.
