Delicious New Recipes

I love trying new recipes! It’s nice to mix in a new one at least once a month to change it up from all the easy go-to’s. Here are four recipes I’ve tried recently that were such winners – I hope you’ll try them, too!

#1 Beef and Cheddar Hand Pies: Who doesn’t love succeeding at a Martha Stewart recipe? I always feel so accomplished! This recipe was delicious and very easy to execute. We eat a lot of tomato-based or Mexican style recipes, and this was a really nice change from those flavors. I served the pies with fresh veggies and called it a night!

#2 Chicken Caesar French Bread Pizzas

Another meal with different flavors from our norm – and such a delicious one! You might be tempted to take a short cut and use a rotisserie chicken, but I hope you’ll follow the directions and cook the chicken in the olive oil sauce in the recipe. It is SO good. Don’t be afraid to put lots of that sauce on the bread, too. I served the leftover sauce on the side so we could dip our crusts in all that garlicky goodness.

#3 Super Sloppy Joes

These are so good! This recipe calls for steak seasoning, and we loved the different flavor it gave the meat. Just be careful if your steak seasoning is full of red pepper flakes – it will definitely spice up your sloppy joes. I only used one teaspoon and it was perfect.

#4 Easiest Cinnamon Bun Coffee Cake

My friend Whitney Jordan reminded me that Krusteaz has the best baking mixes! My grocery store carries a small selection but I found several of the coffee cake/muffin mixes at Big Lots for less than $2 each. They are great to have on hand! I took the cinnamon swirl coffee cake to work and it was a huge hit.

Baking is a hit-and-miss game for me, so I love having these tricks up my sleeve. I topped the cooled coffee cake with an easy powdered sugar glaze that just takes it over the top. Yum!

  1. These recipes look yummy! I really want to try the Caesar pizza. For the olive oil sauce, did you use shredded Parmesan or the powder? That pizza looks so good! Thank you!

  2. I’m so glad you tried and loved one of the Krusteaz mixes. They are always a hit when I make them. We love their blueberry muffins and Snickerdoodles the best. Your Chicken Caesar Pizzas look amazing. I’ve been in a bit of a cooking rut and need to try some new recipes. I’m anxious to make soups and crock pot meals, but it’s still too warm for that.
