Simple Spring Wreath

I found this wreath at Dollar General last year and really loved it, but didn’t want to pay full price for it. I think it was $15 or $18. Imagine my delight when I found it on clearance in the fall for $4!

Last week on Instagram I saw a floral wreath with black and white checked ribbon – and I knew that was the look I wanted. Hobby Lobby is my go-to store for ribbon, and I found exactly what I needed (it’s 50% off this week, too!)

Between the wreath and the ribbon, I spent about $7 on this project. I finished the wreath with a sign from my decorating stash. This is an old Target Dollar Spot find that I’ve used around my house and in other wreaths for a couple years now!

By the way, Dollar General has some great home decor items! Not all stores are equal, but if you find a good one it’s worth popping in there every once and a while. I don’t think they have my exact wreath this year, but they are selling a similar one in stores for $10! They also have a nautical line with lots of navy and turquoise that I’m loving!
