We’re still waiting for our oven to be fixed – they are supposed to come out on Friday – but as you’ll see we still ate very well. πŸ™‚

I tried two new essentially summer recipes with this menu plan: a watermelon salad and a peach cobbler. They were both delicious!

On The Menu

Breakfast:

  • Bakery Cinnamon Rolls
  • Honey Nut Cheerios & Peaches

Lunch:

  • Quesadillas: Turkey Taco Meat + Shredded Cheese on Tortillas
  • Leftovers

Supper:

Dessert:

  • Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler: YUM. I added a pinch of salt to the topping mixture. This only needed two hours to cook in my crock pot. As recommended in the recipe, I lined the lid with a paper towel to absorb the moisture and that worked really well!

I hope you have a delicious week!

  1. Hope your oven gets fixed today! I’m glad that being without it didn’t stop you from having a delicious week. πŸ™‚ Slow cooker french dip sandwiches and corn on the cob sound wonderful! I have a stuffed crust and Little Caesars fan here, so we may need to try that soon. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I’m sorry you’re still waiting on your oven to be fixed! On the bright side it’s Summer and it’s not the busiest baking time. I hope it gets repaired soon. I’m waiting on a refrigerator repairman to return with the parts he ordered. Wouldn’t it be nice if they were speedy, efficient and punctual. A girl can dream πŸ™‚

    1. Ugh, isn’t that the truth?! There’s always a hold up or back order or a more important repair that keeps them from getting to us. Ha! We’re now on the hunt for a new oven after getting the cost for the part we need. πŸ™‚ Hope you got your fridge fixed!
