Meet Whitney

Welcome to the space that I’ve so lovingly created, Come Home For Comfort!

Who is Whitney Pendell? (that’s me)

Currently enjoying life in my 30’s, I live in Greenville, South Carolina where I’ve been for the past 17 years. I’ve lived in South Carolina longer than I’ve lived anywhere else, so I guess this is home! My husband Paul and I have been married since 2010. Together we enjoy trying new restaurants, going to gospel music concerts and Broadway shows, watching classic movies and dreaming about our next Disney vacation.

Anything good you see in me is a direct result of God’s grace in my life and His Word in my heart (along with plenty of hairspray and lipstick!). I’m passionate about reading the whole Bible every year and hope to inspire you to join me.

I love ice cream, Mexican food and Dollar Tree and am a constant re-watcher of The Office and Friends. My two cats are Peggy MacMillan and Thelma Lou, and they live their best life 24/7.

A few “get to know me” posts:

Why “Come Home For Comfort?”

My goal with this blog can be found in my tagline, “inspiring you to make your home a place of comfort.” I want to help women thrive in their home lives – no matter their stage or station in life. I believe that all women, whether single, married, with or without children, have a high calling from their Creator that can be fulfilled through their homes.

This blog is full of all the things I love – my faith, family, marriage, organization, frugal living, grocery shopping, time management and home decor.

If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll follow me on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest! Have a question or need a link to something I’ve shared? Contact me here!

Hugs,
