Today I have a quick and simple outfit tip for you. As stated in my blog post title, I’m sharing what I believe to be the key factor – or glue – in pulling an outfit together. The answer? Accessories, specifically statement necklaces. A statement necklace can pull any outfit together and be the piece of color and texture that gives a plain outfit a bit of pizazz.
My outfit shown below is comprised completely of neutrals (white, navy, and tan/brown). By itself it’s a pretty plain Jane outfit, but with the addition of a colorful and sparkly statement necklace, my outfit gained some personality.
Adding an accessory like a necklace is an easy way to complete your outfits without much effort. And if you haven’t invested in some good statement necklaces, do it! My favorite places to find them without breaking the bank are Charming Charlies and Ann Taylor Loft. So now you have a reason to go shopping. You’re welcome.
