I love summer outfits because of their simplicity. During the winter I’m always having to add a coat, scarf, or some kind of extra layer for warmth, so I love that I only need a couple pieces to put together my summer outfits. One of my favorite simple summer pieces is a maxi dress. Pair it with a scarf or statement necklace and some cute sandals and I’m good to go. I threw this outfit together for a day of running errands and I felt comfortable, cool, and put together.

Another option for an easy summer outfit would be pairing a maxi skirt with a tee or tank and adding some layered necklaces. I will definitely be spending more summer days in my maxi dresses/skirts so I’ve added a few of my inspiration outfits below!

Love all those maxi dresses and think you can never go wrong with the combination of navy + red in an outfit. I’m going to have to find a new one for summer ASAP. I’ve seen some cute ones at Old Navy so I’ll probably start there 🙂
I got mine at Old Navy and I love it! They always have such a good selection of dresses!
