Old Navy Review: Fall Dresses + Top

Shopping at Old Navy is my weakness and since they were having some amazing sales last week, I decided to take advantage of that and buy a few things for my fall wardrobe. I love reading other bloggers’ reviews on what they buy from various clothing stores, so I thought I would review my purchases and share with y’all!

Fit and Flare Dress in Black

What I loved : The material is thick so it will be perfect for fall and winter weather, the length is good ( I usually wear an extra small in ON dresses, but sized up to a small so that it would be long enough), it’s super comfortable, and it will be easy to dress up or down.

Not a huge fan about : The picture online showed the dress as having more “flare” on the bottom. The actual fit is more A-line, but I can work with that.

What I loved : This is one of my favorite colors for fall and I think it will pair nicely with a lot of items already in my closet

Not a huge fan about : It fits slightly different than the black dress even though they are the exact same dress. I guess that’s just part of ordering clothes online.

Relaxed Boat-Neck Tee in Grandpa Yellow

What I loved : I just love striped anything and I’ve been looking for a striped shirt in this shade of yellow for awhile. I thought it might be too big on me, but I really like the relaxed fit.

Not a huge fan of : The sleeves were too long on me, but that’s normal for my short arms. I’ll just be rolling up the sleeves a little when I wear it.

If this review was helpful to you, please let me know! And if you’ve scored some great fall items recently, I would love to hear about it!

  1. I love the dresses! I’ve been wanting to get a longer-sleeved fall dress like this for awhile. I may check out Old Navy soon! I recently got a cute blouse on sale from ModCloth. It’s a creamy colored peasant top, and will go with black pants for work, or with jeans and boots for a more casual look. I’ve had good luck with ordering items from ModCloth (blouses and jewelry alike).
