A big part of successful Dollar Tree shopping is knowing what to look for while you’re shopping. The stores can be messy and often there’s varied inventory from location to location. Let’s talk about what I love to find on the beauty aisles!

While I probably wouldn’t wear a full face of Dollar Tree makeup, there are lots of great finds in the beauty department. I pulled a handful of the Dollar Tree beauty products I use and love to share with you today.

Eye Shadow Palettes

I have enjoyed several L.A. Colors palettes over the years. Right now I have 3 in my makeup stash, including the rose quad in the picture. The pigmentation is really good, and it’s perfect for trying new colors and eye looks. The Le Mercerie brand is pretty new to Dollar Tree but I am enjoying the all shimmer Nude Smoky quad I picked up recently.

TIP: A great eye primer makes all the difference in how well eye shadow pops and how long it lasts. Inexpensive eye shadow looks just as good as the pricey stuff when it’s over a great base.

Makeup Blending Sponges

To me, these work as well as the name brand beauty blenders! They come in several sizes and shapes, even little mini ones.

Makeup Removal Cloth

I keep this on hand for the times I run out of makeup remover wipes. It’s amazing how well it removes makeup and mascara without any cleansing product! These are also nice for travel.

Lip Products

Some beauty products at Dollar Tree come and go from the shelves, but I can usually always find the L.A. Colors lip scrub and Vaseline Rosy Lips lip therapy. I’ve used those on a regular basis as part of my nighttime routine, especially in the winter when my lips are dry.

I also have a couple L.A. Colors lipsticks that I’ve enjoyed. Dollar Tree often carries Revlon, Maybelline and other name brand lip products, but they’re usually some pretty wild colors.

Jade Roller

The dark green roller in the photo is great for puffy eyes. It’s cooling and feels really good when your undereyes need a little hep.

Le Mercerie Setting Spray

I hope the Dollar Tree keeps carrying this product. I picked one up earlier this summer and have absolutely loved it! This setting spray works just as well as the NYX one I was paying $10 for at Target.

Personally, I like to stick with higher end products for things like foundation, mascara, and skin care (see my favorites here). But when it comes to things that are lower stakes, you can’t go wrong with Dollar Tree products.

Did I fail to mention one of your favorites? Leave it in the comments so I can look for it on my next trip! 🙂

  1. I am going to check those items out at the Dollar Tree when I go tomorrow. The eyeshadows are really nice. Love the colors. Thanks for the post.

  2. I’m so surprised how many really good products can be found at Dollar Tree. Not make up related but I found Alani Nu drinks in Witches Brew flavor! Saved over $1.00 compared to the other grocery stores/gas station that sell the same product!

I reply to all comments right here on the post, so let the conversation begin!
