It’s Friday! I’m thankful for my job, but I’m always thankful for the weekend where I can spend some time at home!
We closed on our first home a year ago this weekend. That was an exciting day! Here we are with our massive stack of closing documents, very excited to get out of apartment life and into our own home.
I took the entire week of Thanksgiving off of work, so I could unpack and get settled. I’m glad I don’t have to do that again this year! What a difference a year makes.
Owning our own home has enabled us to own pets, and we love having two kittens in the house! Here’s Thelma Lou and Peggy last December, just a few weeks after we got them from the shelter. Aren’t they precious? If you follow me on Instagram, you know they are still precious, although not so tiny anymore!
I’ve seen a new side of my husband in the past year. He has proved to be an excellent landscaper and handyman! Here he is after installing a new faucet for me a few weeks ago.
God has been so good to us and we bless His name!
