After I put away my Christmas decorations, the house looked so sad and boring. The lack of festive decor and the single digit temps we enjoyed this week made me want to decorate. So back into the Christmas bins I went! I pulled out a few things that were just “wintery” and not absolutely Christmasy:
- Icicle branches: formerly used as filler on my Christmas tree (from Hobby Lobby)
- Snowflake ornament: purchased this year after Christmas from Target’s dollar spot clearance (for .50!)
- “Winter is the time for home” printable: Pinterest find
- Tin snowflake: leftover gift card box!
Everything else came from around the house. How’s that for a cheap decorating job?!
I love to have a least one spot in the house that reflects the current season. You can see this same spot decorated for fall (here) and Christmas (here). Do you enjoy seasonal decorating?

Love the cute printable, it all comes together so nice and festive. Great job!
