High Five For Friday!

Happy Friday! I’m feelin’ a little chatty, so let’s get right to it.

1. These two are getting closer and closer to becoming Mr. and Mrs.! I am headed to Tennessee for my sister’s wedding shower this weekend. Let the fun begin!

2. The future Mrs. and I had lunch together this week (I know we live together, but it’s still fun to meet up for lunch in the middle of the work day). Over waffles and omelets, we discussed the hilarious cat-owner memes that are circulating Facebook…like this one:

 3. I’m probably late to the party, but this guy is amazing. He sings “Let it Go” in 21 different Disney character voices. I think my favorite is his take on Winnie the Pooh, but he does a pretty good Lumiere as well.

4. Last week I mentioned that my kitties were stalking a mouse. Well, they caught it on Wednesday night, after a week of waiting and more stalking. I wasn’t sure how well they’d do with live prey (they are indoor cats that we adopted pretty early). Apparently all those hours of pipe cleaner action paid off! In typical “cat and mouse” form, they chased and tormented it from the kitchen all the way down the hall and into my bedroom. It was quite exiting/terrifying/hilarious as the two cats AND my fearless husband chased the mouse around the room and UNDER MY BED while I sat, terrified, in the middle of the bed – trying not to scream and spook any of the animals like I did last week. I’m so happy that the mouse is gone that I’m awarding this very long story both slots 4 and 5 on my H54F list!

I hope you have a lovely, mouse-free weekend! 🙂

  1. So two things:
1.) In response to the cat memes – “I need this!!!”.
2.) Pegs looks so fat in that picture. You would never think she could keep up with a mouse #fattyforthewin
