Spring Layers

Don’t you guys love how I always do the same two poses for my outfit pictures? Yeah, I thought so. Maybe next week I can come up with a more creative pose (suggestions welcomed). On to the outfit…

During spring I’ve found that light layers are essential. It’s cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon so wearing an outfit that uses a few layers works well for me. Most of my summer dresses are sleeveless and it hasn’t been warm enough to bare my shoulders yet, so I just add a cardigan or jean jacket over my dresses and am good to go.

A few other ideas for light layers would be a soft scarf, an Oxford, or a chambray blazer. Keep your jewelry light and colorful and you’ll have the perfect spring outfit!

    1. Thanks! Since I’m shorter, I’ve found that a monochromatic look works well for me as it makes me look a little taller. And at 5 feet I’ll take whatever I can get! =)
