Grapevine Wreath {Spring Edition}

I seriously struggle when it comes to getting a wreath on my front door. I try – but I’m just not great at it. It’s important to me that I haves something on the door, but there have been months where my doors bore only a plain grapevine wreath and a simple bow. If I had a large budget, I’d happily choose a pre-made wreath from Hobby Lobby or Kirklands…but my budget is usually about $10.

Grapevine wreaths are my favorite because they work with any season and are pretty resilient. I’ve had the same one for several years now, and it’s held up so nicely. The time from after Valentine’s Day until summer is always the hardest to find something for my doors. I don’t want to rush spring, but it’s hard to know what else to do! This year I picked up a little wooden monogram flag from Hobby Lobby’s Spring Shop. Everything in that section caught my eye this year  – it’s full of all my favorite colors! My flag was $7.99 and 40% off. I picked up a roll of burlap wired ribbon from Dollar Tree which made this wreath just over $6 to put together. Win!

Here are a few other ways I’ve used this wreath for different seasons:

They aren’t the fanciest or most amazing wreaths ever – but I think it’s important to do our personal bests when decorating and caring for our homes! So tell me – what’s your go-to wreath strategy? Do you have any tips for me?

  1. Cute wreaths! I haven’t delved too much into making them, but it’s fun to see what can be done with odds and ends. With so many crafting pieces available, the possibilities are endless!

  2. It took down my Valentine Door Decor and like you I am trying to come up with something until it is time for Easter. I have a shamrock but I am not feeling it yet.:) Love your wreath…I may try to fashion something of my own.

    1. It’s so hard to know what to do in between winter and spring, especially in the South when it’s already warm. (BTW…for some reason my blog keeps marking your comments as spam! I’m so sorry, I don’t know why it’s doing that to you all the sudden. I found several of your comments in my spam filter and freed them). ❤
