Dollar Tree Stocking Stuffer Ideas For Kids

Over the past couple years I’ve really come to love stocking stuffers! I always put a stocking together for my husband, and this year I added three more for our niece and nephews. Sticking with my set Christmas gift budget was easy because I shopped at the Dollar Tree!

Here’s my strategy – I chose a theme and a color for each stocking. I try to purchase a mix of practical items in fun packaging with items that are consumable/disposable! Starting with a bathtub theme, I picked out fun bath bombs, body wash, hair ties and bath toys. I added a sweet treat and a book to complete the collection.

I also looked for packages of fun things in multiples – like a 4-pack of Christmas themed bubbles. One container went in each stocking!

This year I filled stockings for a 5 year old girl and two boys – 3 years old and 14 months. Watch my video below to see what I chose for them!

Where is your favorite place to shop for stocking stuffers?

  1. Fun assortment! Bath toys are always a hit at my house. My kids love those magic towels, too. I like to put character bandaids, new tooth brushes, fuzzy socks, new pack of markers, Christmas candy, bath crayons, little flashlight or fun fingernail polish in stockings.

  2. That’s a fun idea to have themed stockings! It would make it easier to fill them, too. The Target Dollar Spot has great low-priced items, but the dollar stores are also great. And our Gordman’s has fun gifts in different ranges.

  3. I love your themed gifts! My stockings always end up random. This could probably work out for adult stockings as well. Will be checking it out!
