Christmas Decor Part 2: The Turquoise Rooms

Turquoise is my favorite color, and while I’m loving the traditional Christmas colors in the rest of the house – I also love these two rooms with whimsical touches of turquoise and silver! My home office has the perfect corner for a little tree. I love catching this view of it each time I walk down the hallway.

The guest room just doesn’t work well with red and gold, so I enjoyed adding whimsical things like bright colored ornaments and a pom pom garland!

This is the furniture that was in my childhood bedroom. I had a moment of nostalgia as I hung that garland, remembering all the times I’d climbed up there to string Christmas lights across the mirror growing up. I’ve always loved decorating my spaces!

When I saw these Elf window clings at Big Lots, I couldn’t pass them up! It cracks me up every time I see it. 🙂

Most of my home office is overrun with Christmas presents and wrapping supplies, but this little corner is so festive and perfect! Tree skirts can be so expensive – I used a tablecloth from my stash under this tree.

The ribbon was left over from my Let It Snow wreath – I think it’s perfect on this tree. Thelma Lou sits here every morning while I work on the blog. ❤

If you would like to see my Christmas Home Tour video, I’ll insert it below. This includes the rest of the house that I featured in Wednesday’s post.

Thanks for stopping by the blog! Have a lovely weekend!

  1. I love how you’ve decorated. Everything is so pretty! That’s so neat that you still have your childhood bedroom furniture. It’s beautiful! Thelma Lou is such a cutie. 🙂

  2. I love reading your blog and watch your videos each week. It is clear how much thought and attention you put into decorating each area of your house. I especially love your theme this year. While our lives are very different, I teach kindergarten in Canada and live with my husband and two kids, you inspire me to make my house a cozy and comfortable place for everyone.

  3. I loved your home tour, Whitney. My favorite room is the guest room. Whenever you show that room I think how comfortable and cozy it is. You are a great decorator.
