High Five for 2023!

I always end the year with a wrap up of highlights. This year I have a few top five lists to share with you!

Five Beauty Favorites:

1 – E.L.F. Poreless Putty Primer: I started wearing this under my foundation back in the spring and haven’t quit! It makes the whole face of makeup go on smoother and hang on longer during the day.

2 – IT Cosmetics CC Cream: I’ve used this off and on over the years and have decided that my skin always looks the best when I’m wearing this! I never pay full price for it, though. Wait until it goes half off and then stock up.

3 – Wet and Wild Bare Focus Setting Powder in Translucent: This powder is less than $4 and does a great job!

4 – E.L.F. Makeup Mist and Set: At $6, this makeup setting spray works as well as the more pricey ones. I feel like the combo of a primer and a setting spray really makes a difference in the overall staying power of makeup, especially in a humid climate.

5 – Under Eye Patches: These stay on my face and really make a difference with my puffy under eyes. I put them on in the morning and it’s such a refreshing way to start the day!

Five Nuggets of Truth:

2 – Dear friends, don’t be surprised when the fiery ordeal comes among you to test you, as if something unusual were happening to you. Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may also rejoice with great joy when his glory is revealed. (1 Peter 4:12-13)

3 – “When we seek God, we see God. We see Him at work and can start to see more of what He sees. Trust grows. If our hearts are willing to trust Him, He will entrust us to more and more of His perspective. We must seek Him, His ways, and His Word.” (Lysa TerKeurst)

4 – For I know the plans I have for you”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. You will call to me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart. I will be found by you”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and places where I banished you”—this is the Lord’s declaration. “I will restore you to the place from which I deported you.” (Jeremiah 29:11-14)

5 – Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. (Matthew 5:8)
