Adjusting

Thelma Lou hides from change, too. Or maybe she’s just hiding.

I like to do things the same way and in the same order every time. Variety is not the spice of my life. 🙂 I get ready in exactly the same order every morning, I drive to work exactly the same way every day, and I clean my house in the exact same pattern every Saturday.

The reality is, even my beloved routines require some adjusting from time to time. Change isn’t always a bad thing!

God has answered some specific prayer requests of mine and has provided a new “day job” about which I’m very excited! With a new job comes a new routine. I want to be careful not to neglect my wifely and domestic duties during the transition and adjustment period, so I’m going to slow things down around here for a while. I’m not giving up blogging by any means, just reducing the number of weekly posts.

My plan right now is to post on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Monday and Wednesday will continue to have content related to organization, time management, domestic life and marriage. I enjoy interacting with everyone during High Five For Friday, so I’ll continue to participate in those posts on Fridays.

I hope you’ll stick with me on this journey – I guess I could blog without readers, but you all make it much more fun! 🙂

  1. Congrats on the new job!! I’m also a creature of habit so good luck figuring out your new routine. It’s exciting and scary all at the same time. I’ll look forward to your posts and hearing about your transition.
