I believe the key to a clean, presentable home is found in small, daily tasks. You may have to spend a few hours deep cleaning here and there, but there are little things you can do every day that will drastically improve the day-to-day appearance of your kitchen. One of those basic tasks is cleaning out the sink once a day.
Do you clean your kitchen sink? A clean sink area makes the rest of your kitchen look a hundred times better! Do these three steps once a day and you’re there!
- Put all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
- Empty the clean dishes from the dish drainer and put them away.
- Wipe the entire sink with a dishcloth or wet paper towel – inside the basin, along the rim and down the water spigot (I use Lysol all-purpose cleaner for this)
Stand back and enjoy your sparkling clean sink!
Do you clean your kitchen sink? Is there another daily task you perform to keep your kitchen looking its best? I want to know what it is!
I make the beds every day. My hubby empties trash, compost and recycle.

It’s amazing what a difference just getting dirty dishes in the dishwasher and a sparkling sink will do to make a kitchen look clean (even if it’s not!).
