Is there something you asked God for a long, long time ago that He hasn’t given you? Is there a desire in your heart that you voiced to Him as a young person that hasn’t come to be yet?
God doesn’t forget.
Being 4’10”, my 6’1″ husband has to bend down to hear me in a crowd or when I whisper something to him at church. The translation of the verse above is very vivid to me – I have more confidence that Paul actually hears me when I see him bend down to take in my words. God always bends down to listen to the cries of our hearts – whether we are in a noisy, crowded place or just whispering our prayers to Him in the night.
Whatever it is that you desire – whatever you’ve asked God to do in your life – He hears, and He doesn’t forget.
