10 Things That Bring Me Joy

Last weekend Christy Jordan instagrammed a list of 10 things that bring her joy. I immediately began to think of the things I’d put on my list. These aren’t in order, and there are many more things I could add to the list!

So much joy

  1. Holding hands with Paul
  2. Funny text conversations with my sister
  3. Talking on the phone with my Mom
  4. Having a kitty in my lap
  5. Eating breakfast at the kitchen counter
  6. Turquoise
  7. Coffee
  8. Good music that takes my focus off me (like this)
  9. Blogging
  10. Being at home

I agree with Christy – God is in all of these. Every good gift is from above! (James 1:17) Take a few minutes and write down a few things that bring you joy – and I’d love for you to share some of those in the comments!

  1. Coffee is one of my favorite things…Chocolate, my favorite chair in my bedroom where I blog and read blogs, my grands, cross stitching, having lunch every Thursday with my girlfriends and my dear husband of almost 39 years. Great post Whitney!

  2. My Bible, time with the Lord in prayer in the morning, doing anything with my husband, hanging out with my daughters, Bible club, Skyping with my parents, baking, a hot cup of coffee, my home, and cats!

  3. Great list! I’d say that my list would include baking, purring cats, hearing Olive call me mama, making lists, laughing with friends, taking pictures and traveling. It’s good to take time to remember the big and little blessings in each day. Thank you for the reminder 🙂
