1// We had a really nice Easter weekend as we celebrated the death and resurrection of our Savior that brought us eternal life! I coordinated our outfits with navy and mint…matching is so fun. My mother-in-law set a beautiful spring table for our Easter lunch – I loved the mini arrangements at each place setting!
2// Of all the seasonal candies, Easter candy reigns supreme at our house. Starburst M&Ms, Whopper Robin Eggs and Reece Eggs..we love them. I headed to Dollar General earlier this week and grabbed one of each while they were on clearance. Hopefully they’ll last longer than April. Ha.
3//Our yard has basically no landscaping, but every spring a few random tulips pop up in the back yard. I think some previous owners tried to plant tulips all around the huge tree back there, but they didn’t quite finish. It’s still so pretty and a lovely pop of red that I enjoy from my kitchen window. Dish washing is always more fun with a view!
4// Peggy is always looking for a cozy spot for napping. She knows how to get comfy!
5// I get to see my sister tomorrow! Speaking of Alli…check out her super cute outfit post from yesterday. I love her style!
Have a lovely weekend!

I love the random flowers that start popping up at Spring. Heaven knows I can’t garden, and I didn’t plant the daffodils we have, but I love them when they pop up! And we are slowly working through our Easter candy. I’ll be sad when they’re all gone! Hope you had a fun sisters weekend!!

I can’t garden either, so I’m left to enjoy the remains of someone else’s labor. Ha! We did have a great time together, thank you!

Sounds like a great week! We love Easter candy – mini cadbury eggs and jolly rancher jelly beans are our favorites. I’ve never heard of Robins Eggs – what are they? Hope you have a wonderful weekend with your sister 🙂

Thank for the compliment on my table. We loved having you! You brought a sweet hostess gift and delicious Garlic Green Beans. Remember that I commented on how easy those skinny little things would be to eat with your fingers? The next day, I alone, ate most of the leftovers ~ with my fingers. Ha!

Haha! I’m sure that was much more efficient than the peck-and-pile method I had going on Sunday! 🙂

Thank you for your sweet compliment! I have to hide the candy on a top shelf and only pull out a little at a time, otherwise we’d gobble it up in a week. 🙂
