Happy Labor Day! I hope you’ve had a great weekend with your family and friends. This holiday marks the last time we’ll see grilling/cookout related items on sale for the year, but it also marks the beginning of fall grocery sales! I was able to take advantage of both of those, and you’ll see what I got in this week’s grocery haul video.
On The Menu
Breakfast:
- Cereal with Peaches
- Pancakes and Bacon (since I dropped the eggs…)
Lunch:
- Leftovers
- Pasta salad with chicken
- Fish Sticks (for Paul…not me) 🙂
Supper:
- Harvest Pork Roast/Rice & Gravy/Green Beans
- Creamy Chicken Skillet/Rice/Tossed Salad
- BBQ Stuffed Baked Potatoes (with leftover pork roast)/Peas
- Bruschetta & Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breasts/Pasta/Green Beans
- Pizza/Tossed Salad
- Date Night! 🙂
- Leftovers

I like how you always note that the fish sticks are for your husband. So funny!
BBQ Stuffed Potatoes are one of our favorites!
Ha! I used to differentiate what I packed in his lunch vs. what I ate at home – now we’re the other way around. I just don’t want you all thinking I eat gross things like fish sticks. Haha!
Those waffles look delicious! We’re also having BBQ baked potatoes and taking advantage of some last of the grilling season type meals. Hope you have a great week 🙂
Mmmm! Enjoy your BBQ potatoes!
I saw your broken eggs the other day but hey, you salvaged it! I am looking forward to seeing the fall baking items on sale! I may just try to make a fruit cake this year. I hated them as a child but as an adult I find them tasty! And double stuff Oreos! Yummo…I recently picked up a bag of the regular kind and nobody is even tempted by them!!
I just watched Martha Stewart make fruit cake on her PBS show…it is a very pretty dessert!
