I’m so glad to be back to blogging this week! I hope you enjoyed hearing from the fabulous guest bloggers who filled in for me during my Disney vacation!
During the next few months, I’m planning to take the blog down to only three posts a week (instead of the usual five). You’ll see posts from me on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Alli will share a style post every other Wednesday. The new posting schedule will allow more time to focus on my YouTube channel, where I’ll be posting a little more frequently. Some of my videos will be included in posts – things like organization, decor and grocery hauls that naturally fit with the content of my blog. The more lifestyle type videos may not be featured here, so make sure you’re subscribed to my channel and you won’t miss a thing!
You can always find me on Facebook and Instagram, of course!
On The Menu
Baked Goodies:
- Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies (pictured above)
Breakfast:
- Avocado & Toast
- Eggs & Bacon
- Cereal
Lunch:
- Sandwiches
- Chicken Stew
Supper:
- Chicken Alfredo/Penne Pasta/Salad
- Toasted Turkey & Cheese Sandwiches/Oven Fries/Fruit
- Chicken Thighs with Potatoes/Peas
- Pigs in a Blanket/Mac & Cheese (for Paul’s small group study)
- Chicken & Dumplings/Peas
- Hot Dogs (it will be a crazy day…and this is also Paul’s favorite meal)
- Leftovers
I find a reduced blogging schedule to be perfect and manageable (most of the time). I’m going to have to start watching Youtube videos more:) Yours and Katie’s are about the only ones I watch.

Sounds like you have good taste in your YouTube subscriptions! Haha! I enjoy watching videos while I’m getting ready or if I have to eat supper by myself at night.

Hot Dogs are my husbands favorite! I’m always hesitant to put them on the menu but when I see he enjoys them just as much as a dinner I slaved over for an hour… why not?!

I’m the same way. Paul gets so much more excited about processed or boxed foods. I still enjoy making complicated suppers, but it’s nice that when I want a break from cooking he is happy to have hot dogs!

Okay, so when I was first reading this, and you said you were going “to take your blog down” I thought, oh no! I guess it pays to read the ENTIRE sentence before jumping to conclusions! 😉 Glad you will be doing more on YT!

Ha! I probably could have worded that a little better. 🙂

Those cookies are so good AND they make a small batch, so you’re not in the kitchen for hours. Although they’re almost gone now, so I need to make more. 🙂

I enjoyed your vlogs so much through Vlogtober. Wanted to quickly share that I loved your coffee vlog. My hubby and I took a couple of days away and on our way home we visited a favorite off-price store, where I happened to find the Java Time coffee you recommended. I snapped up a bag — it was 1 pound, 10 ounces and cost only $5.50! Haven’t tried it yet, but am looking forward to it when our current coffee is gone. The store had lots of Java Time in stock, so if we like it as much as I think we will, we know where to get more! Thanks so much for sharing about that coffee. I had never heard of it before.

Thanks, friend! I took a page from the Whitney Jordan playbook and delivered that plate to Paul at work. 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration!
