What a week this has been! I had a week at home in between my old job and my new job, so it was a week full of organizing, cleaning and Christmas fun. Here are a few of the highlights:
1// My new job! I’m not ready to share exactly what it is on the blog, but it’s something I’m very excited about doing! (I’ll tell you about it in person or over text if you have my number) It came at the exact perfect time and is a blessing directly from God’s hands.
2// I finished my Christmas shopping last weekend and spent several hours wrapping presents! Over the years I’ve come to really enjoy wrapping gifts – I learned that good wrapping paper from Hobby Lobby makes all difference. These are going to my family in Tennessee, but I enjoyed admiring them this week!
3// My photo coasters got a festive makeover! I slid a little bit of leftover wrapping paper in the photo holders and love how they look on my coffee table.
4// I enjoy the cozy glow of the Christmas tree so much! It was wonderful to spend the week at home, enjoying the tree and the rest of my Christmas decorations. I did a video tour of my little house all gussied up for Christmas – here it is!
5// Today I’m headed to East Tennessee for a weekend of Christmas fun with my parents, sister and BIL. We have lots of fun stuff planned and I’m so excited for a sister weekend!

Haha, Jess, my sister is the same way. She’s not a fan of wrapping gifts. Just shop somewhere that offers free gift wrap. 🙂

Congratulations on your new job! It’s exciting to do work you enjoy 🙂 The gifts look lovely. I think I’m going to have to wrap and HIDE mine this year so that the toddler and nosy cats don’t get into them. Your weekend of Christmas fun sound great. Safe travels & have a wonderful time!

Ha – yeah I can’t leave any gifts under or around the tree. Peggy loves paper, ribbon and especially TAPE so there’s no hope for any packages I leave around. Haha!
