- Who knew Walmart had such fun jewelry? I saw that pearl necklace on Instagram and dashed into the nearest Walmart to buy it. I hate Walmart, so you know I really wanted that necklace. As a sweet treat, I found an awesome J. Crew knockoff piece on clearance for $2!
- My hubby had work in East Tennessee last Saturday, so I headed up there with him and got to spend some time with my family! We ate supper at one of my favorite restaurants – their Cheddars is seriously the best Cheddars of all the Cheddars!
- I got another great Target beauty box this week! Those things are SUCH a deal at $7! I knew I had to have it when I saw this box included the L’Oreal Boost It Air Blown Texture Mist. So far I’m in love – I use it in place of mousse and it gives my fine, slippery hair great texture! FYI – I follow All Things Target on Instagram and she always posts as soon as a new box is available!
- Somehow I got a free 2-week trial of XM Radio the last time I had my oil changed. I have always loved country music, but I think the stuff that came out from 1999-2010 is my favorite…and the Y2K Country channel on XM Radio is my jam! I would consider paying for the subscription just for that channel. Ha!
- It’s Friday! I spent the first 5 minutes (a very crucial part of the day) of Thursday thinking it was Friday, and was sufficiently bummed when I realized it wasn’t yet the weekend. It wasn’t a bad week, but it was a long one, and I’m glad it’s really and truly Friday!

You should definitely grab the next Target box! I don’t have an affiliate link (thanks for asking though!), I’m not sure Target does those with that box. When I see the box is available, I just go to Target’s website, search “beauty box” and it comes right up.

I have been really impressed with Wal-Mart accessories for a few years now. They clearance things out regularly and you can often find great deals for $1, $3 and $5. I picked up several Christmas gifts there this year and would love to have that pearl necklace 🙂 Glad you got to visit with your family this week & hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day weekend.

Girl, I keep telling you that you should not give Walmart the side eye!! I too have purchased jewelry there. I got a cute turquoise necklace for $10, wore it to New Mexico and everyone kept asking me where I purchased it. Now that is AMAZING!! One of my favorite skirts from last summer was a $10 Walmart find. If they have them again this year I am buying several.

The last time I was in old Wally World I saw those necklaces – but not that one! The ones I saw I could not pull off. Go girl on the good find! Target….my soul store. Girl, I wish I could say I like Cheddar’s but I think it is disgusting (probably because the one and only time I went there I got food poisoning!) Have a terrific weekend! I totally know what you mean about Cheddars! We love the one in Tennessee and were thrilled when we got a Cheddars here in town…but the food at that one is AWFUL. I don’t know what it is about the TN restaurant, but it’s amazing. Food poisoning is the worst and I don’t blame you for hating Cheddars! Bless your heart.
