Happy Friday! Here’s a quick roundup of 5 things I’m loving this week!
- On Twitter: When National Selfie Day & National Yoga Day happen at the same time.
- In Blogland: One of my favorite monthly linkups – the $10 at Target blog hop! It’s always so much fun to see what everyone found for $10!
- My Family: My parents’ anniversary was on Monday, and they both wrote really great blog posts giving their take on 35 years of marriage. Read them here:
- On Instagram: I made my first batch of popsicles to help beat the heat! They were good – I’m going to blend the fruit a little less next time – but still so good!
- Snapchat Update: I am still figuring out Snapchat, but I’m loving Kate’s snaps. She’s hilarious, her kids are adorable and as a nosy person I enjoy getting a peek into her every day life. Don’t judge me, you do it too! 🙂 (She’s k8_smallthings)
Here’s my question for you – who do you enjoy following on social media? Do you follow a major online personality and pretend you’re friends? 🙂
That’s it for me! Have a lovely weekend!

Snap chat seems hard to me. I am having trouble figuring it out. Perhaps it means that I am getting old? LOL. Happy anniversary to your parents!

I still struggle with it too! I think it’s partly because it’s supposed to be the anti-instagram/facebook, so it doesn’t work like the others do.

Oooo popsicles! YUM! And mercy – I still need to get better (or shoot! just use…) snapchat. But I’ve been slowly adding people so I at least see what others are posting on there. I feel like such a fuddie duddie with it! Hope you’re having a great week!!

I haven’t ever posted a public snap – my sister and I send each other snaps every day and I’m slowly getting the hang of it.

Oh, my, those popsicles look wonderful! It’s been years since I’ve made any. I enjoy following positive personalities on social media who are interested in things I like, too. It doesn’t matter if they’re a “celebrity” or an “ordinary” person. We’re all people when it boils down to it, and under the right circumstances, I think we could all be friends. 🙂

I hadn’t made popsicles in a long time, but it seems like recipes for them are everywhere this summer!

You get to see the more unscripted life of Stephanie on Snapchat. And let me just say, I love the filters so those pop up a lot.

I’m still trying to figure out how to get the filters to work on my cats! 🙂
