It’s time to share the new recipes that we enjoyed this month! Let’s start with a recipe that I saw on TV and instantly knew I had to try! Click the recipe title to view the recipe.
Frozen Berry Pudding Pops
I love watching Katie Brown’s Workshop on PBS. A couple Sundays ago I caught an episode where she made these Frozen Berry Pudding Pops and I knew instantly that I needed them in my life. 🙂 They come together very quickly and are a nice treat on a hot afternoon. I love a bowl of ice cream, but these are a nice change while still being cold and creamy. I think these would also be amazing with chocolate pudding and raspberries!
There was a slight fail with this recipe – you’re supposed to add red food coloring to give the pudding a nice berry feel. My food coloring stash consisted of unlabeled samples I got in a swag bag. I made my best guess, but the one I thought was red actually turned my pops a nice shade of brown. Ha. They still tasted yummy so it’s all good!
Spicy Sausage Pasta
This recipe is so good!! It takes about thirty minutes to pull together, but it tastes like a restaurant quality dish. This is my new go-to recipe for company. I made this twice during July! Once time I used a tomato basil chicken sausage from Aldi and the next time I tried spicy italian chicken sausage from the grocery store – they were both amazing in this dish!
Walking Tacos
There’s no recipe for this one – it’s just Chili Cheese Fritos, taco meat, shredded cheese, lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes, salsa, guacamole and sour cream all piled on a plate. Yum. We eat a lot of Mexican, but I don’t think I’ve ever made tacos this way. It will happen again. 🙂
Have you tried any new recipes lately? I’ve teamed up again this month with some of my favorite girls to share all the new recipes we tried and loved during July. Be sure to visit their posts (linked below) for lots of new recipe ideas! We all have fairly different cooking styles & preferences, so I know there will be something for everyone.
If you’re a fan of Pinterest, we created a special board just for all our favorite new recipes!
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!

These all look delicious!! We were just given some popsicle makers so I’d love to try your recipe. You had me at creamy 🙂 Your pasta looks delish. I always forget about pairing pasta with sausage. And you know I love a good Mexican dish so your walking tacos are on my radar. Sounds like a really delicious month at your house.

Yeah, I don’t usually like sausage with pasta, but the chicken sausage works well with the white sauce. I don’t usually like it with tomato based sauces.

Thanks for sharing that pasta recipe. I remember when you posted it on Instagram and I have been waiting to try it. Looks yummy. I made a chocolate trifle for a get together and it was good but I don’t need any desserts like that on a regular basis.
