How I Organize My Jewelry

I’ve updated the way I organize my jewelry, particularly my necklaces and earrings. As styles and trends change, we all probably have to adjust the way we store our accessories!

This shelf was purchased with the intent of using it in my laundry room makeover, but it ended up not fitting well in that space. Then it occurred to me that it would fit perfectly behind the bedroom door!

Our bedroom is pretty tiny, and this wall is between the door and my closet. It’s completely hidden when the bedroom door is open, but there’s plenty of room for me to stand there and pick out my necklace.

The hooks are far enough apart that the sections of necklaces don’t get tangled up with each other, and I have plenty of room on the shelf to store a few containers that hold my bracelets. The silver tray and sparkly clutch catch and reflect the light, brightening up a previously dark wall!

I found my shelf at Burke’s Outlet for around $12, but there are lots of similar versions on Amazon like this one that’s $17 and this one that is actually a jewelry organizer (it even has spots for your earrings!).

I found that I just need a small container for my earring collection – I’m not wearing long ones like I used to – so this little Dollar Tree organizer is perfect! I can easily see what I want and find a matching pair without digging around.

I’ve seen these organizers recently in the Crafter’s Square section of Dollar Tree. They market them as craft supply organizers but they are perfect for earrings! I keep this box in one of my dresser drawers.
