Christmas Home Tour {2020}

Welcome to my 2020 Christmas home tour! I love using the things I have but always end up with a different look from year to year. We’ll start in the living room and work our way through the house. Thanks for joining me!

The black bookshelf was an early Christmas present and something I debated purchasing all year long! I’m really glad I went for it – I had a lot of fun decorating it for Christmas.

I usually display all of our previous year’s Christmas cards on the piano, but with a total of 11 cards I decided to sprinkle them throughout the house this year!

The stocking tags are a simple DIY – I made the cover in PicMonkey and used Mod Podge to attach it to a $1 wooden ornament I painted.

I love adding festive touches to areas that are usually bare, like this little closet door in the hallway.

The guest room is one of my favorite places to decorate for Christmas! Even if we weren’t having company in December, it’s fun to spread festive touches all over the house.

For our bedroom I added a little gold and white tree with an easy chalkboard DIY!

I really love this Santa collection in the dining area! I can see it when I’m making supper and it makes me smile.

For the dining room table, I combined a $4 bunch of grocery store carnations with free greenery from my yard!

I work in my home office early in the morning, and this cozy tree is so much fun!

When we painted our front door this spring, I specifically chose a color that would work well with Christmas wreaths. I love how the red berries pop against my blue door!

I’ve never added lights to the deck, but this year it just felt right. We stained the deck together in the spring and spent a lot of time out there in the early months of the pandemic.

My little “Believe” banner is a great reminder to me that when I don’t know what to think or who to trust, I can believe the promises of God’s word. He is faithful and always does what is right.

  5. Sooo pretty and festive! I especially like the red bows around the vases in your new bookshelf! What a nice gift that is. I loved receiving the table in our foyer as a gift one year. I also loved the Santa collection you can see from your kitchen.
