Christmas House Tour {Blogmas 2014}

I’m so excited to share all the pictures of my home decorated for Christmas! We aren’t celebrating Christmas at home this year, and I’m not hosting any family parties or holiday get-together events at my house. That doesn’t matter – I still wanted to make our home cozy and festive for the Christmas season!

  1. Whitney, your decorations are absolutely gorgeous! Papa said you have picked up your talent in the genes pool! I said you have a lot more resources than most of the others in that pool, but hey, you rock. You have a great talent for taking photos too.

  2. Such beautiful decorations! I love your tree! the beaded garland really makes the tree shine!

    I have to ask, how on earth did you get the blogmas button to work in your post? I cannot get it to work for the life of me!

    Happy Holidays!!

    1. Hey Leanna, thanks for the sweet words about my decor. It was fun to pull it all together.

      I kinda cheated on the button…I saved the picture to my computer and then added it with the link to today’s linkup post behind it. I never have luck with the HTML for buttons either!

    1. Thank you – I am not good at making wreaths, so I figured cramming those branches in a basket couldn’t be too hard. I’m happy with how it turned out!

      I have a 4 1/2 foot tree and it’s up on an end table – so the branches aren’t touching the ground. As far as I know, the cats don’t bother the tree. I’m surprised they haven’t knocked it over…but I think they might be afraid of it. Whew. πŸ™‚ I also didn’t hang many ornaments on the bottom, so things aren’t dangling at their eye level. I am SURE they would drink the water if it was a real tree – they love to drink out of anything other than their water dish. Ha!
