#1 Is there anything better than finding that perfect thing you’ve had on your shopping wish list forever?! I’ve been looking for a round tray for this table for a couple years now and finally found it at Five Below a couple weeks ago. The best part – it was $5!
If you have a Five Below store in your area, it’s definitely worth popping in for a quick browse. Their style is definitely more juvenile, but you can find some great pieces for such bargains. I love their rugs, throw blankets, pet accessories and tech gear. They also offer $6 flat rate shipping from their site!

#2 Yet another item I’ve been looking for – something to identify our hall bathroom door. Our house is basically an open living space and then a hallway with five doors. I’ve been looking for the perfect wreath or sign to hang here, so I can tell guests “It’s the door with the wash room sign” instead of just sending them down the hall to fend for themselves.
I found this sign at Dollar General for $1! It came with a jute string hanger, but I cut that off and used Command Strips to attach the sign.
#3 I’ve known for a long time that I “needed” a ring light but just couldn’t bring myself to splurge on one. The Tonor company kindly sent me their Ring Light with Tripod Stand and asked me to review it here on my blog. All I can say is I wish I’d had this all winter! It makes taking pictures after dark so much easier!
I also love using it to photograph places in my house that don’t have natural light, like the hallway. It comes with three light settings – natural, warm, and cool – which I love! The pictures I took for Wednesday’s post were all shot using the ring light and didn’t require any editing to brighten them up. I’ve never been able to photograph that end of the living room without editing the pictures after the fact!

#4 I haven’t shared the cats on the blog in a while, so here they are! They are so funny and are usually very close by when I’m at home. Thelma Lou and Peggy live their best lives, as I think all cats should!

#5 Psalm 27:10 “Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord cares for me.”
You can fill in the blank: “Even if _______________, the Lord cares for me.” Whatever you’re facing today, whatever you fear, you can be confident that the Lord cares for you.
You might be walking with someone who is in a difficult season – this is a precious verse to claim and to pray for them, too!
Other Posts From This Week:

Yay for finding those perfectly curated items for your home. Those little touches make me smile when I walk around my house – the perfect wreath, the favorite plates or a family heirloom. They really do make a home so warm and cozy. We have a 5 Below and I’m pretty sure I’ve never been inside of it. I’ll have to check it out and report back 🙂
