Happy New Year! I don’t have an outfit post for you today, but instead am sharing my favorite recipes for healthy eating.
If you’re like me, you’ve spent the past few weeks filling up on mounds of sweet treats and savory dishes in the name of Christmas and ringing in the New Year. But eventually we all have to go back to reality (and the scales!) and and start eating something that at least resembles a vegetable. Going back to healthy foods doesn’t mean you have to forfeit taste though, so here are a few of my favorite recipes to help you get back on track!
Baked Parmesan Zucchini – a tasty side dish that’s quick and easy to throw together!
Whole Wheat Apple Pumpkin Muffins – indulge your sweet tooth at breakfast without the extra calories!
Crunchy Garlic Parmesan Chicken – a healthier (and tastier) alternative to Shake N’ Bake
15 Minute Roasted Sweet Potato – a quick lunch to fill you up with Vitamins A, B5 and B6!
Turkey Veggie Skillet – a yummy dinner chocked full of veggies!
Harvest Cobb Salad – I love salads filled with fruit, nuts, and creamy dressing and this one covers every box on my checklist!
I hope this inspires you get cooking in your kitchen and to make friends with your fruits and veggies! To find more recipe ideas be sure to check out my Pinterest boards!
Thanks for the recipes – I’m anxious to try the zucchini, turkey skillet and cobb salad. I also had a few too many sweets over the holidays so these healthy recipes definitely hit the spot in the new year.
