As a wife who works full time, I am always looking for ways to simplify and streamline my supper plans. I love recipes that allow me to serve the same main dish twice in one week without actually serving the same dish twice. You know what I mean? Some people call that the “cook once, eat twice” method. This week I am serving chili twice…check out the menu below to see how I’m doing it!

Do you have any good cook once, eat twice recipes?
One of our family favorites is Spaghetti Boats. Use leftover spaghetti (mixed with the sauce) over garlic bread, sprinkle with cheese and bake. Who knew spaghetti on top of garlic bread could be so good!! Yummy!!

I like that idea – cook once, eat twice!! I’ll have to think of some ways to do that in the future because I could use the time saver. I’ve done it with grilled chicken before – had grilled chicken one night and then made salads using left over grilled chicken. You’ve got me thinking 🙂

If your family likes casseroles, there’s always a use for leftover meat. 🙂
